My Approach

I take a holistic approach to therapy, acknowledging the effects that culture, physical health, education and spirituality all have on your well being. I help individuals work through issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, family conflicts and life transitions.  I use eclectic therapeutic models because you are an individual and I use the therapy that best suits your needs; these include models such as Emotionally Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. In addition, I use experiential modalities such as Narrative Therapy and Mindfulness and Relaxation Techniques to help support your process. 

 

I have a keen interest in assisting individuals who have either experienced or are recovering from workplace stress and burnout and are seeking to live a more balanced lifestyle.
I also provide strategies to employers who are interested in offering their employees programs to help support their overall mental wellness both at work and at home.

You are a whole individual, and sometimes as we work together, we may determine that your road to recovery may need to involve other health professionals. Which is why I have a team of health professionals like Chiropractors, Naturopaths, Massage Therapist, Shiatsu Therapist who are available to consult with and work with to aid in your overall wellness goals.
